Housed in a four-story, 12-room antebellum home built in 1856, the museum contains over 11,000 artifacts relating to local history. Children will especially enjoy exploring the 1860s replica of a one-room school and the kitchen with it's unique round ice box and wood burning stove. The museum also includes a room with artifacts from the Civil to the Vietnam wars. Located in downtown Brooksville, the museum displays period furnishings throughout.
